EXAMINER course
The Lifesaving Society authorizes Examiners to evaluate and certify candidates in the Society's training programs.
Certification as an Examiner is a three-step process:
Examiner candidates must have Instructor certificate in one of streams teaching experience.
Duration: Examiner course delivered as a blended option, 6 hr. classroom and water time.
Required reference material: Examiner Handbook Award guide is required. Buy it in the LSS office or order it before the course starts by notifying our office.
Payment options:

- Successfully complete an Examiner course with a current Trainer.
- Successfully apprentice with an Examiner Mentor on one exam in the stream(s) in which you seek to be certified as an Examiner.
- Submission of the completed Examiner Training Record and the certification fee to the Society.
